Hetal and Chirag were an absolute DREAM!!! I shot Hetal and Chirag’s engagement session in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. These two are set to tie the knot next year in Arizona so they wanted an east coast adventure complete with fall colors for their session. We started at the overlook and headed down to the waterfalls and out to the river for a lantern lit sesh to end the evening. Loved hangin with these two, congrats again! So with 5 days to plan, Caroline and Darin were able to get their florals from CM Bloomers out of Brunswick Maryland on short notice and we were off and with color still on the trees even! We had take our shoes off to walk through some VERY cold water to get out on the little island but these two were troopers and adventured with us all around Harpers Ferry. The most beautiful sunsets are after a storm. the light angled right in between the heavy cloud cover and the mountains right before it hits the horizon…perfection! These two have a special memory of Darin teaching Caroline how to wobble at a friends wedding in the beginning of their relationship so we had to wobble on their special day!

We photographed them in early October at the State of Virginia Arboretum in Boyce, Virginia. At this age it’s all about play time! Our family sessions with toddlers are child led, meaning we play games and the flow of our session is led by what the littles are happiest doing. We love this session with the Budd Family!

Read MoreYou guysss!!! Check out this super cute couple Maggie and Chris. These two have a special place in their hearts for Alexandria. We headed to Shipyard Park, the docks on the waterfront and the tunnel in Alexandria, Virginia to shoot their engagement session. We absolutely love how these turned out, watching the moon rise over the water with the lights from the MGM sparkling in the distance was so magical. Blue hour is our new favorite time to shoot! Congrats to Maggie and Chris for starting this new journey together, we can’t wait to see more of their love story as it unfolds!
Read MoreIf you couldn’t tell, we had a blast with Molly & Mike. We had a few minutes with the black clouds hovering over us before the storm unleashed on us. It was CRAZY. We got out of the rain and into the whiskey under the gazebo and out on the balcony. We watched the storm until it was off into the distance while we listened to the rain and thunder and danced to The Avett Brothers. We ran out onto the dock and they jumped in the river. It was some serious Notebook vibes. We ran around the yard and ended up in the pool where we listened to the Dirty Dancing soundtrack and did some Dirty Dancing moves in the last of the rain. We can die happy. This session was a dream! We can’t wait for their wedding next June!
