I shot Kensley and Jason’s engagement session on Theodore Roosevelt Island in Washington DC in November. We had the perfect timing for the leaf peak and decent temperatures. We had a blast exploring the island and we actually made it all the way around! I can guarantee no one else has these views of the Watergate Hotel and the Kennedy Center because we caught low tide and were able to cut through the woods to find this tiny beach which was super secluded. We also got views of Georgetown Waterfront, the Key Bridge and Rosslyn, so glad these two were game for exploring!
Read MoreYou guysss!!! Check out this super cute couple Maggie and Chris. These two have a special place in their hearts for Alexandria. We headed to Shipyard Park, the docks on the waterfront and the tunnel in Alexandria, Virginia to shoot their engagement session. We absolutely love how these turned out, watching the moon rise over the water with the lights from the MGM sparkling in the distance was so magical. Blue hour is our new favorite time to shoot! Congrats to Maggie and Chris for starting this new journey together, we can’t wait to see more of their love story as it unfolds!
Read MoreThese two decided on love forever together this year and got engaged! Eli and Jacob are the most interesting people I know and will forever have a special place in my heart. They are both healthcare workers, Eli being on the front lines fighting COVID so as you can imagine 2020 was just an insane year for both of them but it also included a ray of light when Jacob asked Eli to marry him! We shot their engagement photos in Georgetown, Washington DC in a gorgeous home with an incredible kitchen, backyard and rooftop. They paid homage to Eli’s Indian traditions as well as their Jewish faith in such a beautiful way. It was so hard to choose, but here are some of my favorites!
