On Christmas this year these two were buzzing with excitement because the very next day they had a big secret! These two secretly eloped on December 26th. They planned and kept it a secret from everyone for 2 weeks before the big day. They planned casual dinners with members of their family the following week to reveal their big secret! We photographed them in early October at the State of Virginia Arboretum in Boyce, Virginia. At this age it’s all about play time! Our family sessions with toddlers are child led, meaning we play games and the flow of our session is led by what the littles are happiest doing. We love this session with the Budd Family!

We headed to Shipyard Park, the docks on the waterfront and the tunnel in Alexandria, Virginia to shoot their engagement session. We absolutely love how these turned out, watching the moon rise over the water with the lights from the MGM sparkling in the distance was so magical. Blue hour is our new favorite time to shoot!
