A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of shooting in a magical pine forest in Manassas, Virginia. I was invited by a lovely family who wanted to capture some special moments during their maternity session. Read MoreWe had a blast with this family, their little boy was a pure joy! These guys needed to update their family photos since their little guy is growing so fast. We photographed them in early October at the State of Virginia Arboretum in Boyce, Virginia. At this age it’s all about play time! Our family sessions with toddlers are child led, meaning we play games and the flow of our session is led by what the littles are happiest doing. We love this session with the Budd Family!

Check out this generational family session on Jockey’s Ridge in Nags Head, North Carolina. This was of our own family plus my brother in laws family. We are addicted to beach photo sessions for obvious reasons so if you want a Jockey’s Ridge photo shoot we are so down to shoot at this location again!

This family chose the Airlie Center to have their family photos because they were actually married there! We went back and toured all the areas where they said their vows and took pictures on their wedding day so now they will have photos of them as a family, full circle! We absolutely loved hanging with this family and photographing their super special photo session. Thank you to Airlie Center for letting us capture these on their amazing property!
