On the blog today is M + B’s May 1st wedding in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and Knoxville Maryland. These two tied the knot on a surprisingly chilly May day. It was calling for crazy rain all day. About an hour before their ceremony while Meaghan was getting ready it rained buckets and then, as if the sky knew these two were to be married the rain stopped and held off for the rest of the night!

It was 25 degrees that day with 38-51mph winds, probably colder and higher winds up on that cliff! Love kept these two warm!
Read MoreWe recently did a styled shoot with several local wedding vendors to create some magical images highlighting small businesses in the Harpers Ferry area. The Wedding Niche hosted and coordinated our styled shoot, providing the most gorgeous historical backdrop and connected all the vendors. Outdoor Eventures set up their glamping tent, TLC Bridal Boutique provided the dress, The Little Things designed and made the earrings, Sofia Marraffa Flower Designs provided the gorgeous bouquet and cake florals, Monica’s Sugar Studio baked the delicious cake and Brixton is the hat maker. Our couple got ready, ate and cut the cake in their glamping tent, we then took our couple on a hike up the Appalachian Trail, we walked the Potomac River banks and drove up to an overlook to watch the sunset over Harpers Ferry with champagne. What an awesome way to say I do all within an hour of DC.
