Appalachian Trail Adventure Elopement in Harpers Ferry

We recently did a styled shoot with several local wedding vendors to create some magical images highlighting small businesses in the Harpers Ferry area. Harpers Ferry is famous for being the half way point on the Appalachian Trail and the convergence of two rivers the Shenandoah and the Potomac River making it an amazing place for an adventure elopement.

The Wedding Niche hosted and coordinated our styled shoot, providing the most gorgeous historical backdrop and connected all the vendors. Outdoor Eventures set up their glamping tent, TLC Bridal Boutique provided the dress, The Little Things designed and made the earrings, Sofia Marraffa Flower Designs provided the gorgeous bouquet and cake florals, Monica’s Sugar Studio baked the delicious cake and Brixton is the hat maker. Our couple got ready, ate and cut the cake in their glamping tent, we then took our couple on a hike up the Appalachian Trail, we walked the Potomac River banks and drove up to an overlook to watch the sunset over Harpers Ferry with champagne. What an awesome way to say I do all within an hour of DC.
