Harpers Ferry Spring River Elopement with M+B
On the blog today is M + B’s May 1st wedding in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and Knoxville Maryland. These two tied the knot on a surprisingly chilly May day. It was calling for crazy rain all day. About an hour before their ceremony while Meaghan was getting ready it rained buckets and then, as if the sky knew these two were to be married the rain stopped and held off for the rest of the night!
We met up with M + B at The Wedding Niche where they were finishing getting ready. We had their first look under a giant willow tree, first with B and then with their adorable son who was delighted to see how beautiful his mother was in her wedding gown. We then headed down to the river bank for their intimate ceremony led by their officiant Lisa from The Wedding Niche. Once married they had their first dance, skipped rocks with their son, had a dance party, and popped a bottle of champagne right on the Potomac River. Then we headed back to Keep Tryst Manor to take some lantern photos with the bamboo forest. The family of three drove back to their airbnb on the river in Shepherdstown and had a nice steak dinner.
Congrats again M + B we so enjoyed partying with you on the river, it was an honor to capture your love!
