You guysss!!! Check out this super cute couple Maggie and Chris. These two have a special place in their hearts for Alexandria. We headed to Shipyard Park, the docks on the waterfront and the tunnel in Alexandria, Virginia to shoot their engagement session. We absolutely love how these turned out, watching the moon rise over the water with the lights from the MGM sparkling in the distance was so magical. Blue hour is our new favorite time to shoot! Congrats to Maggie and Chris for starting this new journey together, we can’t wait to see more of their love story as it unfolds!
If you couldn’t tell, we had a blast with Molly & Mike. We had a few minutes with the black clouds hovering over us before the storm unleashed on us. It was CRAZY. We got out of the rain and into the whiskey under the gazebo and out on the balcony. We watched the storm until it was off into the distance while we listened to the rain and thunder and danced to The Avett Brothers. We ran out onto the dock and they jumped in the river. It was some serious Notebook vibes. We ran around the yard and ended up in the pool where we listened to the Dirty Dancing soundtrack and did some Dirty Dancing moves in the last of the rain. We can die happy. This session was a dream! We can’t wait for their wedding next June!
Jonathan’s proposal was packed full of surprises for unsuspecting Caroline!
Caroline just thought she was going on a short walk with a long time friend in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia when Jonathan had an entirely different day for her planned. She was shocked to find her boyfriend waiting on a cliff for her. He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. SHE SAID YES!
These two decided on love forever together this year and got engaged! Eli and Jacob are the most interesting people I know and will forever have a special place in my heart. They are both healthcare workers, Eli being on the front lines fighting COVID so as you can imagine 2020 was just an insane year for both of them but it also included a ray of light when Jacob asked Eli to marry him! We shot their engagement photos in Georgetown, Washington DC in a gorgeous home with an incredible kitchen, backyard and rooftop. They paid homage to Eli’s Indian traditions as well as their Jewish faith in such a beautiful way. It was so hard to choose, but here are some of my favorites!

Sahand and Robby live in LA. Sahand is in the Halloween industry so choosing October 31st was no accident, it’s the best day of the year. Robby is from West Virginia, so naturally this area has a super special place in his heart.
Casey and Kathryn totally rocked their engagement session! We went on a Harpers Ferry mini adventure with this gorgeous couple amongst the fall leaf peak with beautiful weather. We are super excited to share these and we can’t wait to capture these two tie the knot next year!
We had a blast photographing this Fall Engagement Session with Annie, Scott and pup Oakley in Delaplane, Virginia. We fell in love with this sweet fluffy fur baby, she’s an expert level field frolicker and she was well paid in treats and carrots for her modeling services. We hope these two can get to Italy soon to tie the knot!!
We had scheduled these two back in April but the coronavirus had other plans. So we were so excited to FINALLY get these two back on the books! Congrats again to Kathryn and Matt for finding your one person out of billions and getting engaged! We can’t wait for the big day in October!
Alex and Bridget got engaged here months ago, so the DC cherry blossoms is a very special place for these two. We roamed around the tidal basin at sunrise with them and their cute pup. It was pretty windy on the water that morning and the flower petals “rained” down on us creating some pretty MAGICAL moments. We are so happy for Alex and Bridget and can’t wait to capture their wedding this fall!
We had a blast with this gorgeous couple! We got THE perfect sunset at one of our favorite spots in Northern Virginia AND it was 65 degrees in December so it was a perfect day for this dreamy engagement session!
As you can imagine, Fall in the beautiful state of Virginia is a busy time of year for family and wedding photographers. Sometimes we get to spend a day with our own family during this craziness that is Fall and we get to capture the people we love! We got a little help from our tiny friends too, all the kids took turns with the camera! We love you guys!
It rained off and on all day with promises that it would clear up around the time of our shoot, so we went for it. We got drizzled on a little bit but for the most part the weather kept its promise and we happen to be no stranger to rain.
Ashleigh and JP met at Tomahawk Motocross Track, he surprised her by proposing at the same track last year (which we also shot, see those here) and so it only makes sense that they tie the knot there next year! We had so much fun with these two during their engagement session! JP pulled out all the tricks for us and so did their pups! We had the track all to ourselves and a beautiful sunset, for sure our new favorite session! Congrats Ashleigh and JP, we can’t wait to see you all tie the knot!
Who likes coffee? How about freshly made coffee, watching a sunrise come up with your soulmate and the horses? I mean, you guys-probably the hardest decision selecting which images made the cut. This couple literally slayed their session and it was probably the most fun yet relaxing sessions to date.

Oh. my. gosh. You guys Jp proposed to Ashleigh this weekend! He used his own birthday party as cover and surprised her during his “birthday” photo op. She said yes! They got engaged at the same place they met 5 years ago! Congratulations you guys!
