This is our son River, he’s had a camera in his hands since he started to drool. When both your parents are photographers I guess it’s just in the genes and he loves it. He started out with a film Holga and Diana F+ and graduated to a Canon Rebel when he was 2. He is now 4 years old and shoots with our Canon 5D Mark IVs.

This is my mom and all her grandbabies. Ive never offered a “grandma and me” session before but Im thinking this could become a thing. This gorgeous, amazing woman raised 4 children on her own and has played a huge role in these 3 babies lives so she’s basically Super Mom.

I do two sets of mini sessions a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. This year my spring mini sessions were held in Harpers Ferry National Park. I timed them during the blue bell bloom on the Shenandoah River bank and we were not disappointed. We had great weather and lots of fun with these kiddos! The Humphrey's just welcomed a new great dane puppy into their family named Vader! So of course we had to have a session to commemorate the occasion! I cant wait until next year's session to see how much he's grown!

We spent a long weekend in Ocean City, Maryland with the fam over spring break. We played on the boardwalk, hunted for seashells and rode a "big bike" (the 4 person car bikes) that the kids were obsessed with! We also visited Assateague Island to see the wild ponies. It was a little chilly but we had a blast!

We got about a foot of snow this week! It snowed for 2 and a half days and it was glorious! There was plenty of sledding and snowman building and snow mountain climbing. Danny tried to ski, but the snow was too thick and fluffy. We built ramps and had snow ball fights. River helped us shovel and chase an enthusiastic puppy around. Fun was had by all, I only took my big camera out for a little spin, I tried to be present and have fun with the kids while I was out there. Here's a peak at one of our snow days!
