Happy Anniversary to us!

Thank you to everyone who brightened our day by wishing us the best on our 5th Wedding Anniversary!

We had a blast in Belize! (minus the sunburns!) We spent the first day kickin it poolside with rum drinks in coconuts. I must admit, it felt weird not catering to every need and want of a 3 year old for once. I walked the beach at sunrise with my monkey of a husband. We went snorkeling with our local guides Bert & Judell who are free-diving spear fishermen. He showed us around the Barrier Reef and introduced us to some of his fish friends. We swam with sharks, stingrays, eagle rays, dolphins, sea turtles, pretty much a billion different species of fish and crustaceans in an untouched incredible coral reef 20 miles out in the middle of the ocean with no one in sight. We watched as Bert spearfished lion fish and pulled on sharks tails. I have been snorkeling all over the Caribbean and Ive never seen a reef system like this, like we were the first human eyes to see it, no bleaching, no damage, beautiful colors even though its summer....just incredible. Unfortunately for you, I did not have an underwater housing with me and besides I didn't want any distractions, for once I just wanted to be fully engaged and experience this once in a lifetime dive. I did however take a million shots with my phone from the boat and during our private island lunch.

We trekked through a pristine rainforest to an amazing waterfall, we didnt spot any jaguars or snakes thank goodness! Belize is so pure, so untouched by man, we will never forget it, but we are so glad to be back home with our sweet boy! Back to work, back to our home renovation, back to this crazy thing we call life.
