How sweet is this surprise proposal in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia?!?

As wedding photographers, we've had the privilege of capturing countless magical moments between couples, but there's something extra special about a surprise proposal. And when it takes place in a beautiful location like Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, it's a moment that's sure to be etched in the couple's memories forever.

Recently, we had the opportunity to photograph a surprise proposal in Harpers Ferry that left us absolutely breathless. The couple, Brandon and Delaney, had been dating for several years and Brandon had been planning his proposal for months. He wanted to do something truly special, so he chose Harpers Ferry, with it’s stunning views of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers, as the backdrop for his big moment.

As Brandon and Delaney approached this epic overlook in Harpers Ferry, Brandon started to get nervous. He knew that the proposal would be a complete surprise to Delaney, so he had to make sure that everything went perfectly. When they arrived at the overlook, Delaney was completely surprised. He told her how much he loved her and how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Then he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Delaney was completely taken aback, but she said yes!

We were there to capture the entire moment, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The way the sun was shining behind them, casting a warm glow over the river, made for the perfect backdrop for the proposal. We could tell that this was a moment they would both cherish forever. After the proposal, we spent just a few moments taking photos to celebrate and then they were off to have dinner at The Hillbrook Inn.

As wedding photographers, we've seen many proposals over the years, but this one was truly special. The combination of the stunning scenery and the deep love that Brandon and Delaney share made for a moment that we will never forget. We know that they will cherish these photos for years to come, and we feel incredibly grateful to have been a part of such a special moment in their lives.
