Intimate Fall Adventure Wedding in Harpers Ferry with Melanie + Jacob
Melanie & Jacob decided to create a hybrid style wedding, an adventure elopement but with close family and friends and it was SO perfect! They brought along their family and friends on a short hike down to the Potomac River and had their beautiful ceremony on the river banks not far from their reception venue The Wedding Niche.
They started their day getting ready at The Wedding Niche and having their first look in front of the gorgeous white historical home under the colorful fall leaves. We then took them for private quiet time up to Jefferson Rock for epic views. We came back, took all the family formal portraits and then headed down to the river for a sweet vow exchange. While family and friends headed back to The Wedding Niche just a few minutes up the road, we took some more couples photos during golden hour on the river. We headed back and had cocktail hour and a locally sourced, farmer driven elegant dinner by Chef Erik Foxx-Nettnin. This TO-DIE-FOR dinner was filled with warm toasts, followed by their first dance and then parent dances. They cut the cake and ran out with a fun sparkler exit!
