This sweet couple are expecting their first baby! We had the most beautiful sunset at Raven’s Roost Overlook in Shenandoah National Park in Lyndhurst, Virginia but it was WINDY. Before driving up the mountain for this maternity photo shoot it was pretty nice and warm, no wind, but once we arrived the wind was intense and it made it so much colder. This gorgeous Momma BRAVED the cold and wind but it was so worth it! We absolutely loved spending time with these two and even though it was a little chilly, we just LOVE this wind swept look on this powerful expecting Mom. It was an epic experience none of us will forget!

You’ll also want to be aware of the weather, if it’s going to snow or if there is any ice, they have a tendency to shut down sections of the Blue Ridge Parkway and this overlook is pretty high up in the mountains.
