Adventure Elopement in Harpers Ferry with Yulia + Alex

Yulia & Alex’s adventure elopement in Harpers Ferry was a DREAM!

Adventure elopements are a type of wedding ceremony where the couple chooses to exchange vows in a remote outdoor location. It is typically a more intimate and casual event compared to a traditional wedding and the focus is on the natural surroundings and the couples connection to each other rather than on traditional customs and wedding guests. Adventure elopements are popular among couples who want to have a unique and memorable experience and are often held in scenic locations such as mountains, forests, beaches or national parks like this one in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. They can be as simple or elaborate as the couple wants, but the goal is to have a wedding that is true to their personalities and values.

These two decided to explore and take photos all around Harpers Ferry downtown city streets, Jefferson Rock, the Ruins of St. John's Episcopal Church, St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Lockwood House, the Appalachian Trail, C&O Canal trail, and the Potomac River Bank. They brought along their pups and parents while they spent the day together all dressed up in nature.
